Between the 15th to 17th of Winter, a festival Night Market occurs in Stardew Valley. You’ll find a lot of boats and merchants at the docks on the Beach. They’ll offer to take you on a boat ride or will try to sell you different goods.

The mermaid show boat is open from 5 pm to 12:30 am daily during the Night Market Festival.

When you enter the boat, a mermaid will appear followed by a cut scene. Her music performance lasts for about 1:40 Hour but you as a player may leave it any time.

You can also open the game menu to stop time passage which allows you to get more coffee points.

After the show is done, you can play the clam shells inside the boat to play musical notes. Play the correct notes in the correct order to receive a special secret pearl.

About Mermaid Show Stardew Valley

Night Market, a seasonal festival in stardew valley, takes place in winter from 15th to 17th of winter.

You can meet a lot of merchants with their boats at the docks in Night Market. You can buy goods from them or ask them to take you with them for boat ride.

Night Market remains open from 5 pm to 2 am. However, the mermaid show boat and Submarine ride closes at 12:30 am and 11 pm respectively.

The homes and shops that are closed during other festivals are not closed during Night Market. You’ll also have to feed your animals regularly during this festival as compared to other festivals. These are two major differences in Night Market and other festivals.

Map of the beach also changes during the Night Market festival. Items like chests, crab pots, placed or hidden there also disappear temporarily because of the changes in the map. You can, however, complete regular quests on killing monsters, fishing, or gathering.

Night Market is different to other festivals in a sense that if you talk to the villagers attending night market festival, your friendship points with them also increase.

During night market festival, all villagers tend to change their schedules to attend the festival. Talking to these night market attendees will boost your friendship with them.

Mermaid Show Boat

Mermaid Show is open from 5 pm to 12:30 am. When you enter the mermaid show boat you’ll be greeted with a cut scene. You can watch mermaid show performance for 1:40 Hr in-game time or you can skip her performance and leave any time. You can also open the inventory to stop time from passing.

After she’s done performing/cut-scene finishes, you can right click on the shells inside the boat to play similar music notes to that of cut-scene.
